2nd time I got to see the SCG’s guitarist. He’s got quite the left hand! This was his Freak of Araby tour band, which is not the same as the Drag City CD band, being instead basically the Oaxacan band from Oakland. They were pretty good, though I prefer the SCG's and/or the solo shows of RB. Would like to get ahold of some live sets from his work in the combo Rangda with Corsano and Six Orgs. If anyone gots any that sound ok, drop me a line
