I've followed Phil since his work with Fred Frith and Bob Ostertag on Voice of America, put out in the early 80's during the worst of the Reagan years (not that there were any good Reagan years). His cd with Einheit ( Sans Soleil) is prettyy astounding, too. One of the most original and startling vocalists.
